Xtream Christmas in July is Back!

Join The Salvation Army and Xtream Powered by Mediacom for a FREE family fun event on Friday, July 25, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Evelyn K. Davis Park!

This outdoor community celebration brings families together for food, fun, entertainment, and access to valuable community resources — all while raising awareness for programs offered by The Salvation Army, including:

• Rent & utility assistance
• Food pantries
• Mobile breakfast feeding program
• Youth programs
• And much more

Event Highlights Include:

• Santa visits and free toys for kids
• Free lunch sponsored by MidAmerican Energy & Fareway
• Free ice cream from The Outside Scoop Truck
• Giant inflatable Christmas obstacle course
• Red Kettle bounce house
• Free face painting
• Street hockey with the Iowa Wild & Crash
• Mini golf with Pop Up Games
• Splash pad fun and free water station
• LIVE GOATS from West Homestead’s Healing Herd
• Archery, bucket fishing & prizes with Bass Pro Shops
• NEW THIS YEAR: Special appearance by the Ghostbusters!
• Vendors, giveaways, nonprofit resources, and more

This event is all about connecting the community with organizations and resources that can help improve lives. Attendees can also pick up a free community resource guide featuring sponsors, vendors, nonprofits, and helpful services available throughout the area.
