DESCRIPTION:As more companies begin to start diversity\, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs and individuals seek to become more involved in DEI issues\, "Where do I start?" is often a common question. DEI topics are complex and learning about them requires intentionality. A growing number of organizations and individuals are seeking to start DEI programs and learn.  \n\n \n\nWith this in mind\, the Greater Des Moines Partnership's Inclusion Council will offer a DEI 101 series.  \n\n\n\n The series will help employers\, managers\, employees and individuals better understand the broad array of DEI terms and concepts. These sessions are most suitable for organizations and individuals who are new to the journey of DEI. Each session will have an interactive component for participants to discuss\, share and learn from each other in smaller breakout rooms.
