The roundabout will be in a highly visited section of the roadway, and the Cities are seeking a piece of public art to enhance this infrastructure improvement and should: 

• Utilize the space of the newly created roundabout at Boston Parkway and Alice’s Road. 
• Celebrate the unity between the Cities of Clive and Waukee; 
• Align with the natural environmental beauty celebrated by the Cities and interwoven in the project’s work.  Recognize that it will be viewed both by drivers and their passengers, as well as pedestrians; 
• Take into consideration the importance and high traffic of Alice’s Road as a connective vein for the major roadways of both Clive and Waukee of vehicular traffic; and 
• Consider the future development of the area and how this piece may fit into future improvements and upgrades. 

Applications must be returned by Friday, July 10 at 4 p.m. After the deadline, a selection panel will determine finalists who will be contacted with instruction for next steps.
