Stuff Etc Marks 41 Years with Statewide Give-Back Campaign Supporting Local Iowa Charities
Stuff Etc is celebrating 41 years of business by giving back to the communities that have supported the company for more than four decades. During its four-day anniversary celebration, Stuff Etc will donate $1 for every transaction at all eight Iowa locations to local nonprofit organizations serving families and individuals in need. WayPoint Resources Launches April Fundraiser as Demand for Services Rises
WayPoint Resources will launch its annual April Online Fundraiser on Wednesday, April 1, with a goal of raising $150,000 to support services in the upcoming fiscal year. The fundraiser will conclude once the goal is reached, followed by a celebration on Tuesday, April 28, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at Country Lane Lodge in Adel, recognizing the community whose support sustains the organization’s work.The fundraiser comes as WayPoint Resources reports a 17% increase in households using its services in 2025
DART CEO Accepts Position with Metro Transit in Twin Cities
Amanda Wanke will return to her home state of Minnesota to be closer to family after helping guide DART through a pivotal time for transit in Greater Des Moines. The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) today announced that Chief Executive Officer Amanda Wanke has accepted a leadership position with Metro Transit in the Twin Cities.
