Johnston, Iowa (July 30, 2024)- LifeServe Blood Center is partnering with KGGO RADIO in Des
Moines to collect blood donations during a critical time of the year, the end of summer, and into the
Labor Day holiday. Those who donate blood on 8/30-8/31 at the following donor centers — Ames,
Ankeny, Downtown, Johnston, Marshalltown, Pella (8/30 only), Urbandale and West Des Moines —
will earn a limited edition t-shirt.

As we celebrate the contributions of hardworking individuals across the nation, we also want to
take a moment to recognize the incredible impact you can make by donating blood. This Labor Day,
we’re excited to offer double points for every blood donation! When you donate August 30, 31 or
September 3, you’ll be rewarded with double points. Your generous donation can save lives, and
