Point of Sale Consultant at Electronic Office, LLC

Electronic Office is a merchant services company that has been in business since the 1970s. Specializing in point of sale and credit card processing technology for the hospitality industry, we are looking to add to our team to assist with our continued growth and to branch out into new verticals.
 
We are looking for a Point of Sale Consultant to help us educate prospects and turn them into customers. This outside sales and consulting role's primary focus will be acquiring and onboarding new customers. You will gain expert knowledge of the products and services we offer and consult with potential customers on how these products can help solve their problems. The ideal candidate will be experienced in B2B sales, relationship building and comfortable consulting with business owners on new technologies.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales:

  • Generate new leads through own initiatives including networking and social media
  • Follow up on inbound sales leads through internal marketing efforts
  • Meet or exceed yearly sales quotas
  • Opportunity to build a portfolio of ongoing monthly residuals
Solutions:
  • Become an expert on all company product and service offerings
  • Conduct product demonstrations with prospective customers
  • Represent company at trade shows and events with the purpose of meeting potential customers
  • Assist with implementation, training, and support of new customers
Relationship Management:
  • Establish long term relationships with potential and current customers
  • Attend industry and trade shows and networking events
  • Develop an understanding of potential and current customers business to recommend necessary products and services
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience in cold calling and canvassing local businesses
  • B2B sales or account/relationship management experience
  • Good communication skills with all levels of stakeholders and types of businesses
  • Self-starter able to work under minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of credit card processing, payments, or restaurant and/or retail operations highly beneficial
  • Strong relationship building skills to build rapport and trust with potential customers
  • Ability to quickly learn and consult on latest technology

  • Base pay $50,000 - $60,000 + commission. Expected first year salary range is $85,0000 - $100,000
