About Us

Our Vision: A Hunger-Free Iowa, Our Mission: Provide food for Iowa children, families, seniors and veterans to lead full, active lives, strengthening the communities where they live. Food Bank of Iowa finds free and reduced-price food, keeps it safe and delivers it to the doors of 700 partners across 55 counties. Our partners take the food the last few feet and hand it to their neighbors in need. As a Feed America partner, we follow strict food safety guidelines, ensure food goes to people in need and manage national retail food rescue partnerships. Food insecurity and hunger continues to rise in Iowa and we are grateful for the support from our volunteers and donors.
