Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa launching 'The Big Draft' to recruit 60 mentors in 60 days
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa (BBBSIA) is looking for the next class of Bigs to address the need for mentors in our community. In collaboration with the NFL’s Inspire Change initiative, BBBSIA is launching The Big Draft, an annual volunteer recruitment campaign to encourage more volunteers to become mentors (“Bigs”). Iowa Pork Producers Association
The 2026 Iowa Pork Congress once again highlighted the generosity of Iowa’s pork community, raising approximately $53,000 during the annual Dollars for Swine Scholars Auction. The funds will support college scholarships awarded by the Iowa Pork Foundation to students pursuing careers in the pork industry.
