The Clive Greenbelt Trail Will Be Closed at the Interstate 80/35 Bridge Through 2025 Due to Interstate Construction

The trail closure starts Tuesday, October 1, 2024 CLIVE, Iowa – Due to Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) construction on the Interstate 80/35 bridge over Walnut Creek, the popular Clive Greenbelt Trail will be closed at the interstate bridge intersection starting Tuesday, October 1, 2024.  The closure will likely be in place through 2025 because of the extensive construction activity.  Trail detour signs will be placed beginning Thursday, September 26, directing users to alternate routes in Clive and
