Bowl for Kids’ Sake – a bowling fundraiser benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa, bringing together local volunteers from John Deere to support mentorship programs that help young people build confidence, skills, and brighter futures.

WHO:
More than 70 John Deere employees will hit the lanes to raise funds and shine a spotlight on the life-changing impact of one-to-one mentorship through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa. Beyond the bowling lanes, more than 25 John Deere employees also serve year-round as workplace mentors, pairing with local youth to build real-world skills like budgeting, career planning, decision-making, and emotional resilience. Together, they’re helping young people across Des Moines gain confidence, discover possibilities, and see a future filled with opportunity.
