NCMIC Announces Three Executive-Level Promotions

CLIVE, IA (August 13, 2025) – As newly appointed CEO David Siebert builds out his executive leadership team,
NCMIC is pleased to announce the promotion of three long-standing leaders to key executive roles. These
strategic appointments reflect the company’s commitment to fostering internal talent and ensuring strong,
steady leadership for the future.

Melissa Knutson has been named Chief Strategy Officer. Knutson, who joined the company in 2004, will be responsible for shaping and driving enterprise-wide strategies that align with NCMIC’s mission and long-term goals. She is the co-founder and president of the nonprofit organization Give Grace, Give Hope, and serves on the Board of Trustees for EveryStep.













Traci Galligan has been promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer. With NCMIC since 2009, Galligan leads talent acquisition, employee development, culture, and total rewards, and aligning people strategies with NCMIC’s mission, growth, and inclusive workplace goals. She oversees NCMIC’s charitable giving effort and has a long history of service on boards such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa and the House of Mercy.













Scott Gojkovich has been named Senior Vice President of Insurance. With the company since 2019, Gojkovich will oversee the strategic direction, performance, and growth of NCMIC’s insurance division. He is Chair of the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s Communications Board, Chair of Easterseals Iowa, and a board member of the Food Bank of Iowa.
